Swimming Accommodation for the Angourie Pools

Swimming Hole Heaven in NSW

Where is the closest accommodation to the Angourie Blue Pool and the Angourie Green Pool? Here are my nearby camping, homestay, and hotel suggestions and their distance to this swim. All distances below are by road to the car park at the start of the path down to the pools. Above: The cliff casting a shadow over Angourie Blue Pool a few hours before sunset (Order this image) Guests are spoilt for choice for accommodation close to the Angourie Pools, with around a dozen options clustered within a few hundred metres of the Angourie Pools car park. Here are a couple of apartments in Bay Street, roughly 300 metres from the Angourie Pools car park.

Above: Ocean views but no accommodation at the Angourie Blue Pool (Order this image) Angourie is close to the pools, but only has a cafe and a small handful of shops. The nearest sizeable town is Yamba, 5 km to the north, which has supermarkets, petrol stations, restaurants and a range of other amenities. If you would prefer to be within easy driving distance of the Angourie Pools, but within walking distance of a range of shops, here are some accommodation options in central Yamba.

There are no campgrounds or caravan parks in Angourie, but there are numerous campgrounds in Yamba to the north of Angourie. I have provided two options below on the southern side of the Clarence River, with easier access to Angourie. Both of these have a range of accommodation options, from cabins to powered and unpowered sites, and both are family friendly. Blue Dolphin is closer to the shops in Yamba and has its own pool bar, whilst the Big4 Saltwater has a pretty large splash park on site. Both of these holiday parks have dog-friendly accommodation, with more options for dogs at Big4 Saltwater. For more rugged camping, the Shelley Head campground has ten campsites and some picnic tables, but it is a 6 km walk along the coast to reach there and you need to bring your own water.
