Where is the closest accommodation to the
Bogey Hole in Newcastle? Here are my nearby camping, homestay, and hotel suggestions and their distance to this swim. All distances below
are as the crow flies to the Bogey Hole, which roughly approximates the walking distance through King Edward Park, but under-estimates the distance by car because of the windy roads
in King Edward Park. Note that King Edward Park is steep in parts, but there are paths and lawns that run through it.

Accommodation close to the Bogey Hole:
The Bogey Hole is located at the Back of King Edward Park, accessible from either Shortland Esplanade or York Drive. There is no accommodation within King Edward Park, but there
are several options scattered around the park, with three of the closer ones listed below. Saint Aubyns also has its own rather luxurious pool, with no pools at
the other two options.

Caravan and camping accommodation for the Bogey Hole:
There is no camping permitted in King Edward Park and caravan/camping options around Newcastle are very limited. The two closest options I could find were both around 20 km away from
the Bogey Hole. The NRMA Stockton Holiday Park does not have a pool, but it is located right on the beach and is next to the Stockton Swimming Centre, which is a public 50 metre swimming pool.
Belmont Lakeside Holiday Park has a pool and is surrounded by water on a peninsula jutting out into Lake Macquarie.
