Where is the closest accommodation to Grannies Pool in Blacksmiths? Here are my nearby camping, homestay, and hotel suggestions and their distance to this swim. All distances below are by road or foot to the car park at Grannies Pool. Above: The tide out at Grannies Pool (Order this image) The closest accommodation that I could find to Grannies Pool were three properties along the road to the pool, with the closest (Beachside Cottage) on Ungala Road, at the Grannies Pool turnoff. This is literally the closest residential building to the pool, with only a playground and the foreshore between you and Granny. Blacksmiths has a small commercial centre along the Pacific Hwy, with several takeaway shops, a liquor store and a hardware store a few hundred metre walk or drive from these accommodation options.

There are however several caravan parks in the area, with the Blacksmiths Beachside Holiday Park by far the closest to Grannies Pool. All three of the holiday parks listed below have a pool, with with Swansea Holiday Park the only one that does not have pet friendly options. Both the Blacksmiths Beach and Swansea Lakeside Holiday Parks have at least one wheelchair accessible cabin. Whilst all three options are close to the water, if like me you really enjoy a water view, the Belmont Lakeside Holiday Park is on a small peninsula completed surrounded by water.
